At the time we financed this through Technology Credit Corporation on behalf of SunPower, Federal policy enabled us to do this as a lease. Austin Energy limits PPA structures. We financed this solar project for the original owners of Antelope Valley Ford & Mazda with PACE - Property Assessed Capital Expenditures. The owners considered tax leases, but ultimately decided on a direct-ownership financing so they would retain the Tax Credit. The financing had reasonable prepayment costs, so it was paid off prior to sale of the dealership.
